Eowyn Fitch has been dancing since the age of four, and is a dancer and performer currently training out of the undergraduate program at the University of Utah’s Modern Dance department in Salt Lake City. Eowyn began her training in Southern Maryland, where she has studied numerous dance styles including classical Vaganova style Ballet, En Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Modern, Salsa, and Ballroom. After graduating high school, Eowyn’s professional dance career began when she became a principal dancer in The St. Mary’s Ballet for three years, where she danced such roles as: “Waltz of the Flowers Soloist”, “Spanish”, and “Mother” in “The Nutcracker”, as well as having commissioned choreographic work such as “Winter” of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”. At the age of twenty she moved to Orlando, Florida where she became a Cast Member of Walt Disney World in the Entertainment Department. While in Orlando, Miss Fitch performed in parades and shows such as “Dream Along With Mickey” and Disney’s “Dreams Do Come True” parade at The Magic Kingdom. Eowyn is currently working on new and upcoming choreography, dancing with Compass Performing Dance Company, located in the Salt Lake area, and has choreographed and performed in three shows thus far, with the University of Utah.
